Hey Everyone!<br />
<br />
Well, I am back and I promise that I will be more regular in this space from now onward! Last night I had planned my entire Saturday. I wanted to go out and chill out in my own company but as you all know what one thinks cannot come true all the time! So yeah, I woke up at 11:00 am and I swear I was feeling very bad not just because waking up late is bad but also because I had messed the entire plan for the day.<br />
<br />
Then it suddenly struck me 'Why don't I do something that I never do?'<br />
<br />
To be honest guys, I never make the main dish for any meal. I can make round rotis and I generally do so every second day but taking the helm of the kitchen in my hands is not my cup of tea. So, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and make the sabzi today! I am a big fan of paneer and capsicum sabzi and that is why I set out to make it all by myself. I asked my mom for the recipe of course so that I don't go wrong anywhere.<br />
<br />
I was slowly slicing all the veggies, and patiently making it all. All the while I was thinking that our moms fix meals for us every single day and we usually don't thank them enough for it. You can never get 'maa ke haath ka khana' (food cooked by mom) anywhere else. No matter how much you spend at expensive restaurants, the simplicity of a mom-made meal is unbeatable.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://images.pexels.com/photos/3171128/pexels-photo-3171128.jpeg?cs=srgb&dl=selective-focus-photography-of-standing-woman-in-front-of-3171128.jpg&fm=jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="534" height="320" src="https://images.pexels.com/photos/3171128/pexels-photo-3171128.jpeg?cs=srgb&dl=selective-focus-photography-of-standing-woman-in-front-of-3171128.jpg&fm=jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
One request, whether you are a male or female, spend sometime with your mom in the kitchen and help her around (gender equality please!). She isn't asking for much. It will give her immense happiness to see her son or daughter taking interest in cooking and most importantly the willingness to spend time with her. I know weekdays are busy but a small gesture from your end on a weekend will put a smile on her face.<br />
<br />
So, back to my sabzi, I had messed it up a bit but my mom instructed me how to rectify it and voila, my dish was ready. I made rotis along with it and served it to my mom and dad. The satisfactory smile on their face was enough to tell me that my hard work had borne fruit! I have decided that every Saturday I will cook something for my family and at the same time improve my culinary skills.<br />
<br />
The little things in life make all the difference. Your life may not be perfect but there is always something to be grateful for. To those who compare their lives with others (even I do so guys! I am a human too!) remember that -<br />
<br />
There is no comparison between the Sun and the Moon. They both shine when it is their time.<br />
<br />
I remind myself of this quote whenever life pushes me down. It helps me rebuild my dreams and aspirations.<br />
<br />
The Bottomline - Help your mom in the kitchen!<br />
<br />
See you next time. Till then take care!<br />

<span style="font-size: large;">How to Start Saving Money - I Began at 5 </span><br />
<br />
Papa: Hello beta, look what I have got for you?<br />
Me: What is this, Papa?<br />
Papa: It is a piggy bank and I will give a rupee to drop into it everyday.<br />
Me: What will that do, Papa?<br />
Papa : When you grow up you will have a lot of money!<br />
<br />
The above was the conversation between my father and I when I was 5 years old. He had returned from work and brought a piggy bank for me to inculcate the good habit of saving money in me.<br />
<br />
It was at that time when I started to understand what saving money is all about. I would ask him for a rupee everyday and put into the piggy bank. Later on too, whenever I got money, it would all go into it.<br />
<br />
You know, the trick is to catch them young and that is exactly what my Papa did!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2017/10/25/19/45/piggy-bank-2889042_960_720.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="800" height="192" src="https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2017/10/25/19/45/piggy-bank-2889042_960_720.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
By the way, I broke my piggy bank when I entered college (with a heavy heart of course!). There were a lot of coins that were used in buying my bus tickets for my daily commute. :)<br />
<br />
Okay, so from piggy bank to mutual funds, my life has come a long way but the basics are the same! Here are some tips to help you stay financially healthy:<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<ol style="text-align: left;">
<li>Start early - As soon as you start earning, apart from your salary account in a bank, you must have your savings account as well. </li>
<li>Save a part of your salary - After paying your bills every month, keep an amount aside and label it as your monthly saving. Once you stop wasting money on unnecessary things, you will be able to set aside a higher amount as your savings. Chalk out all your expenses and find out where you are spending more than what is needed. After setting things right, you can transfer the savings to your savings account and over a period of time it will be a substantial amount. </li>
<li>Invest - Yes, it is good to start investing in the right places and see your money grow with time. </li>
</ol>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div>
I would not tell you where to invest because I am not a financial expert to tell you that. I am just a commoner who has learnt things from experiences of my own and that of others. There are a plenty of options in front of you these days. You can even ask a financial advisor to help you out with it. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Even if you did not start saving from an early age, you can always do so from today! Find out how much you can label as monthly savings from your current income and shift it to your savings account. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The amount saved can be used when you are in a crisis and in dire need of money. You must always have enough to execute the PLAN B of life. I hope you are able to catch my point. Sorry for sounding pessimistic but you never know when catastrophe strikes! What I personally feel is that the world needs a little bit of pessimism to run things smoothly and therefore, you must have money for emergencies. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Let us do something for the planet!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hi!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It is high time to save the planet. No, I am not saying this only because of Greta Thunberg. I grew up watching a cartoon series called Captain planet and the Planeteers where being eco-friendly and leading a sustainable lifestyle was always stressed upon. As a kid the betterment of Mother Earth was of importance to me and it still is. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One question bothers me a lot. How come we humans are behaving as if we are the sole beings who have the right over the entire Earth? Aren't the trees and other living beings having an equal right over it? Can we do whatever we want? We call ourselves civilized, right? Please note that we have destroyed everything! India is being plagued with floods every now and then with major harm done to humans and their property. It is indeed saddening to see fellow humans suffer so much during floods but you think this is a natural calamity? In my opinion it is man-made. Who asked us to axe trees at such an accelerated rate? Yes, I agree that some of us are planting trees around but that won't help. Can you compensate for the huge loss in forest cover by planting a few trees? NO! Same goes for climate change! Humans have disheveled the whole planet! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Well, I have vented out my anger and dismay over how we have ruined the whole ecological balance. However, I cannot deny the fact that I am also responsible for it! Today the situation is going out of hand but we still can do something. Here is what you and I can do to help save the planet:</div>
<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li style="text-align: justify;">Get rid of plastic</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2014/07/09/23/43/plastic-bottles-388679_960_720.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="213" src="https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2014/07/09/23/43/plastic-bottles-388679_960_720.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Were we using so much of plastic two decades ago? No, right? Every time you go shopping carry a cloth bag with you. Single use plastic has been banned in my state but still I see hawkers offering plastic carry bags to consumers. Refuse to accept these bags and carry your own wherever you go. Disposal of these bags is extremely harmful to the environment.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li style="text-align: justify;">Save water</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2017/08/18/18/30/glass-2655954_960_720.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="720" data-original-width="444" height="320" src="https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2017/08/18/18/30/glass-2655954_960_720.jpg" width="197" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A lot of cities have zero ground water level and are in a very bad state. So, please use water wisely. You should keep it for the next generation or are you so selfish that you want to finish it all by yourself? Sorry for being so pungent but I can't help it as I am angry now! What I do is fill one bucket of water and take bath with that only. I try my best not fill more water. A few mugs of water saved in a day will help you in the long run. A shower is still better as you will be able to save more water. So, if you have been bathing with several buckets of water in a day, please stop doing so. Think about all those who are walking kilometers to fill just one pot of water!</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li style="text-align: justify;">Plant trees</li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2014/04/17/23/26/environmental-protection-326923_960_720.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="213" src="https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2014/04/17/23/26/environmental-protection-326923_960_720.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It may sound cliched but please try to have at least a few trees in your garden. They serve as homes to so many animals. If you live in an apartment, please try to maintain a small green space in your balcony. You will be thrilled to see feathery visitors each day.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I know that this sounds like a long and boring lecture but I am quite upset by our wrong doings and this is the only way I know to express myself.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Pause and think dearies!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What will happen to the planet?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><b>What Makes Dogs Better than
Humans? - My Take </b></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Do you know what surprises
me the most? It is the relation between an animal and a human. How come an
egoistic human who lives as though he rules the planet be friendly towards an
animal? Whatever it may be, the most adorable friendship is that of a human and
a dog. A man or woman can never get a friend who is as dedicated, devoted and
faithful as a dog. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">They will never judge you.
If they like you, they show it whole-heartedly. A pet dog always shows
compassion towards his human no matter what he or she is like. It hardly
matters to them even if you earn less, don’t have a big house or a fancy car.
Your appearance also does not bother them. It is the soul that they read and
when all is well deep within, you will always be showered with kisses from your
dog. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://images.pexels.com/photos/406014/pexels-photo-406014.jpeg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&dpr=2&h=650&w=940" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="213" src="https://images.pexels.com/photos/406014/pexels-photo-406014.jpeg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&dpr=2&h=650&w=940" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">I have never adopted a dog
officially as I feel you need to raise the pet like a child. However, there was
a time in my childhood when I had befriended a stray female dog. She was a
quite different from the rest. She was a lot thinner than other dogs with a
shiny black coat and patches of white and brown here and there. I named her
Peelu. Back then I used cycle to school from home and she used to escort me
almost halfway to my destination. I became attached to her and used to feed her
every single day. In fact all of my neighbours used to offer her food and she
was overfed most often!!!. However, that never reflected on her body. She
continued to stay slim just like me! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://images.pexels.com/photos/460823/pexels-photo-460823.jpeg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&dpr=2&h=650&w=940" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="459" data-original-width="800" height="183" src="https://images.pexels.com/photos/460823/pexels-photo-460823.jpeg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&dpr=2&h=650&w=940" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Now that was little anecdote
from the past but till date I have not forgotten her! I keep watching funny dog
videos and the dogs most often leave me baffled at their presence of mind!
Their cute antics almost make a gloomy day bright and shiny. However, there is
one thing for sure. You cannot compare a dog’s sense of commitment to that of a
human. I have never heard a dog abandon his human. It is most often the other
way around. Humans are so merciless that they are willing to abandon a dog in
the middle of nowhere and run away. A lot of such stories surface every now and
then but one story on social media really touched me. An abandoned dog found
near a petrol bunk was adopted by the bunk’s owner and even given a job! Yes!
He was given the job of a greeter and was an instant star! He is doing fine now
and makes all the customers happy. The dog looked pretty happy with his ID card
and cap! Sometimes bad things happen to you to lead you to a better path in
life, do you agree?<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">I don’t know what the take
away from this rant of mine would be. But I would like to say that dogs are
better than humans. They are not fake like how most of us are!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

happened to see one episode and the amount of effort the children put into
their performance is mammoth-like and what really irked me the most at one point was when a judge said that there are more expectations from the contestants! The competition
level is simply going higher and higher with every new season of the show. Children
are doing death-defying gymnastics and not DANCE! A little mistake can lead to
an injury; this is what I feel as a spectator. Anything can go wrong at any
point of time. It is highly deplorable to see such innocent children being used
for showbiz. The judges are filling their pockets, the channel is garnering
attention and getting TRPs and who is suffering ultimately? – The child participants.
The little children should have a protected and happy childhood and not be
exploited in the name of talent. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Children who put in efforts
to learn a particular dance form or those who do free style dancing like how a
kid should be doing are being sidelined. The feeling upon seeing performances
of ordinary children is like – ‘This is too ordinary to be called dancing
talent’. ‘Level up, get better, better and break the ceiling!’ It is getting
too much to handle as other children are getting discouraged as they can’t
match up to the level of reality show participants and their circus-like
performance. Comparison is natural with the participants and it makes the young
minds feel that they are no good. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Why no one else is looking
at it this way?<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Now what astonishes me is
the fact that why don’t other people react to this burning issue of ‘almost child
labour’ and exploitation and put up a fight against it? Is there sufficient
safety in these shows? I don’t see any precautionary measures being taken there.
What if someone gets hurt? Who will be held responsible? I feel as though
people are enjoying the circus and are absolutely not bothered about the fate
of the children who are attempting such dangerous stunts. Has the Indian audience
turned a blind eye to such shows? <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Too many questions poured in
here but I want to bring this matter to the forefront. Is it right to make use
of kids and put their lives in danger to earn money? I really wonder how the
parents of the participants are able to bear all this. What is the catch behind
their silence? They are feeling proud of their kids performing such feats on
stage but little do they realize that if some other kid tries to imitate the
same actions at home, what will happen? This is an immensely disappointing behaviour.
Talent should be brought into the limelight but not at the cost of someone’s
life. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Hi Folks!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The above is a standard template used when people ask me
about my profession! Some people are glad or may I say rather jealous to know
that I work from home because commuting is a huge problem in Bangalore. Then
there are some who feel that it is good that I turned my passion into a
full-time profession. So, in this post I am trying to show you a few facets of
being a freelance content writer in India! C’mon, I have been in this
profession since 2014 and I guess I can do justice to this topic! Hang on in
there because it is not a serious issue but a quirky side of the life of almost
every freelancer into content writing.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://images.pexels.com/photos/7112/woman-typing-writing-windows.jpg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&dpr=2&h=650&w=940" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="213" src="https://images.pexels.com/photos/7112/woman-typing-writing-windows.jpg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&dpr=2&h=650&w=940" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Initially I was pretty naïve and did not know much about the
tricks of the trade but as they say – time teaches you everything! I have
definitely grown over the years as the number of clients grew. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">How do you get work?<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The most commonly asked question! Do you ask this to people
who work in a company? Would you ever ask - ‘How your marketing team is able to
get writing orders for the company?’ <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Weird that people want me to spill the beans regarding
how I get work. However, no harm in telling them that I get it online. In fact
everything these days is done online! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Do you get payments on time?<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The other lot that is interested in knowing how much I
earn usually start with the above question. First of all, ‘freelancer’ does not
mean someone working for free! It also does not mean that the person is free
the whole day! Just because I am not associated with a company doesn’t mean
that I am not a professional. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">You have a lot of free time?<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">There goes another missile! A person going to office at 9
and coming back at 5 may look busy but if a person spends the same number of hours
at home, he or she seems to have a plenty of free time! The truth is that at
times a freelancer works more than a regular office-goer but the bitter reality
is that he or she is not given due credit. Yes, I have flexibility in my work.
If I don’t work for some reason during the day, I allot a few hours for myself
during the night. The point is that task assigned to me needs to be completed
on time no matter which hours of the day I choose.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Moments of happiness..<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">I was really happy about my choice of career when one of
my school friends working as an IT engineer in the US asked me what I am into.
I told him that I am a content writer. He was delighted to know that I am doing
something that interests me. It made him feel that India is progressing after
all! Otherwise, these days, you can see every second person working in the IT
industry. Another girl I met in my Zumba class was telling me that she is into
the most boring job in the world – software development. Need I tell you more
about job satisfaction?<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://images.pexels.com/photos/110473/pexels-photo-110473.jpeg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&dpr=2&h=650&w=940" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://images.pexels.com/photos/110473/pexels-photo-110473.jpeg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&dpr=2&h=650&w=940" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">On a serious note….</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><o:p></o:p></span><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Well, how much I earn would be another question people might
be interested to ask but are scared to ask directly! All my freelancer friends
would agree that it depends on the work we have and it is not fixed. Anyway it
is no hidden fact that writers are underpaid! The most frustrating situation is
when clients post their requirements and mention that they have bulk work to offer
but a low budget. By using words like “Long term, bulk work”, they try to
exploit writers. My policy is to stay away from such people who have no respect
for freelance content writers. They want to be stingy with the writing budget
but expect us to give our 100%. I know this is getting serious but I really
wanted to bring this fact into the limelight. The writing market can only flourish
when all the freelancers commit to set up a payment standard. If you want
quality, you need to pay accordingly! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">And… to those who still wonder what I do for a living – I
am content writer who loves her freedom and is therefore self-employed! My
life, my rules!!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><o:p>See Ya! </o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The title should have been –
‘Different types of cab drivers I have dealt with’ because this write up is
completely based on what I have seen and felt while using the two popular cab
services in India – Ola and Uber. I travel mostly by Ola so obviously I have a
lot of stories of that particular cab service. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The Heartbroken Music Lover<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Now, when you have to travel
for more than one hour that too in Bangalore’s traffic and all you get to hear
are songs that elucidate the pain of a heart break, it can be highly irritating.
‘Jeeta tha jiske liye, jiske liya marta tha, ik aisi ladki thi jise main pyaar
karta tha’. (yes, I remember the song! Thank God it was not on repeat) All the
glum songs crooned by Kumar Sanu! Not that I hate 90s songs but common yaar, it
can make you gloomy after a point! Just imagine how my 1 hour trip would have
been!!!!! An appeal to all music loving cab drivers: please stop playing such
songs even if you have had a heart break because you can’t get things fixed by
torturing the passengers like this! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The Know-It-All Chatter Box<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Some cabbies are big time
chatter boxes and they speak to other drivers over the phone. One person plugged
in his hands-free and was speaking to glory with the other chap for a good one
hour. Just imagine 1 hour of non-stop nonsense! Sitting behind I was wondering
all the while how these people get the content to talk for hours together. By
the time I reached my destination I was already tired! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The Rebel<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">After the episode of the cab
driver speaking over the phone for too long I decided to put an end to it in my
next ride. So, when I got into the cab and this person dialed his phone, I
asked him to disconnect the call and concentrate on his driving. He said it is
hands-free but this time I wasn’t ready for any excuse. He disconnected the
call but after a few minutes again connected to another. I kept mum not because
I didn’t have the courage to fight with him but because the ratings were in my
hand and it was the first time ever that I gave a cab driver a one-star rating.
Now let’s head over to a funnier rebel. He was playing video songs in the cab
that I didn’t find interesting. So I decided to play my own songs on my phone
(I had forgotten my earphones at home that day </span><span style="font-family: "wingdings"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;">L</span></span><span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">). He switched off his video for a while but
I guess he didn’t like my collection as he started playing the video songs
again. At last I had to lose the game, stop playing my songs and sit back in a frustrated
mood. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">I usually come across the
chatter boxes during my cab commute. It isn’t even funny anymore. You are
heading to a place for some serious work and you can’t even have the peace of
mind you deserve! Hey, I have booked the cab for my convenience and what do I get
in return? Unprofessional and unpolished behaviour from the cab drivers! <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"><br /></span></span></div>

<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><b>The Best Way to Treat Acne</b></span></h3>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Acne is more of a teenage
problem. However, in my case it has plagued me in adulthood too! It got too
difficult to handle in 2017. My entire face was full of plump red pimples that looked
way too horrendous! So, I decided to get them treated but I did not opt for an allopathic
treatment because I felt it would have side effects. Plus, many of my friends had
to swallow antibiotics for months only to find the acne problem resurface again!
So, what kind of a treatment did I actually go in for? Keep reading to find out!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span class="irc_ho" dir="ltr" style="margin-left: -2px; padding-right: 2px; unicode-bidi: isolate;">Picture Source: Lipstiq.com</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Okay, no more suspense! I
actually went for homoeopathy. Right from childhood it has been a saviour for
me. In class 12 when the allopath told me that the only option for treating my
tonsilitis is an operation, homoeopathy came to my rescue and cured me
completely. It saved me from surgery guys! What else do you need? This incident
further strengthened my belief in homoeopathic medicines. So, coming back to my
acne story, I started the treatment in the last month of 2017 and I am still
getting treated for it for a completely clear skin. It has been more than one year
and it might seem a really long time for some people but trust me guys it has
been totally worth it. I have been visiting the doctor every month and she has
been giving me different combinations to treat my skin. I now actually feel
that my skin is getting back to normal! All this without any expensive creams,
gels or antibiotics! Had I visited the allopath, the treatment would have
involved strong medicines and I would have suffered with the harsh side-effects.
<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">This is my personal
experience and I thought of sharing it so that you as a reader can benefit from
it. If you also have acne, try searching for a good homoeopath and start
getting treated. Most often details about your medical history and your overall
health would be noted down by the doctor. It only helps the doctor prescribe the
right kind of medication for you. However, you need to be patient when you are
getting treated as it is a rather slow process. During the last one year so
many people have asked me to quit the treatment and pay the dermatologist a
visit. However, my belief has always been firm and I did not give much heed to
such advices. I had once read in my childhood that belief is bigger than the
saint. The same thing applies to medical science. If you believe in your doctor
and your treatment, you will get cured! This is my personal time-tested opinion,
but may or may not apply to everyone. One thing I would like to tell you is
that when you decide to go in for one particular line of treatment for acne,
don’t keep changing doctors every now and then. Doing so will only hamper your
recovery because every doctor does not treat you the same way, they have their
own approach. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">So, that’s all I wanted to
share with you! Go ahead and get treated!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><b>Technology and the Difficulties it Creates for Senior Citizens</b><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">They are from an era when
there was no television, the water was consumed from a hand pump and the best
way to spend free time was by reading books (made out of paper!). How can all
of us, the so called - ‘millenials’ expect them to do net banking, mobile
banking and use apps on smartphones? By ‘them’ I refer to senior citizens, the
60+ parents and grandparents! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Some of them are actually
catching up with the changing times but what about those who have been left behind?
There are instances when there is nobody else in the house to coach the elderly
and guide them about using smartphones. Yes, many elders live alone which is a
sad truth but I am not getting into that. Now, do you think it is right to
bombard them with terms like OTP, cashback code, PIN, Digital wallets,
Re-CAPTCHA and the like? It only brings down their level of confidence and
makes them feel dependent on others. As children it is our primary duty to
assist them at every step but it is also true that most of us are way too busy
in our own lives that we don’t realize that our parents are getting old and are
finding it difficult to cope up with the rapidly changing times! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">These days everything is
done via Paytm, which is extremely convenient, no doubt. However, it is a
daunting task for the seniors. Are we moving towards helping them become a part
of this world of advanced technology? Or are we just trying to put them down by
showing our excellence at using gadgets. Mind you, they have educated
themselves in a time when there was no Google, they obviously need to be
respected for that. They didn’t have this concept of e-learning when they were
studying, it has all been done the hard way without any shortcuts. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The difficulties they face
are right from doing an online bank transaction to using their Metro card at
the Metro station. It extends to not being able to commute on their own because
of the hardships they come across while booking a cab on their app. There are a
plenty of other things. I am just pin-pointing at those that I have seen my
parents struggle with. If I have missed something you can always mention that
in the comment section below! I would love to hear from you! </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Now, the ‘Million
Dollar Question’ - Can we make things a little easier for them instead of
asking them to do what they are not comfortable doing? Well, at least store
keepers and fast food joints need to accept cash payments without making a face
and complaining that there is no change. By moving ahead in the world of
technology, we don’t have even the slightest right to make the world difficult
for the senior citizens. It is okay to accept cheques from them, it is okay
when they can’t use their smartphones the way you want them to and it is okay
if they don’t know how an OTP works. Just don’t bombard them with stuff that
makes them feel uncomfortable. Kindness and understanding are the two apps you
need to download right now :P because even you are going to get old one day and
will have to learn from your children!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello everyone!!</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I know, I know it has been a really long time since I have posted on this blog but it feels good to be back after such a long hiatus! The last 5 years have seen some significant changes in my life. Keep reading if you want to know what they have been! Let me tell you that they were the least expected ones!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://images.pexels.com/photos/5733/wood-wooden-number-home-decor-5733.jpg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&dpr=2&h=650&w=940" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="534" height="320" src="https://images.pexels.com/photos/5733/wood-wooden-number-home-decor-5733.jpg?auto=compress&cs=tinysrgb&dpr=2&h=650&w=940" width="213" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The first thing that took place was a change of careers. My passion for writing got turned into a profession. Yes, I began in 2014 and today I have 5 years of experience in content writing. Instead of joining any firm I chose to be a freelancer. You must be wondering why! Well, as a freelancer I am self-employed and have more than one client to write for. The work-from-home scenario is the best for me as the work-timings are super flexible. I can shut-shop at any time of the day as it is completely my call. I guess most of you would relate to me if you also work form home! At times it does get a bit boring because you have no colleagues to talk to. However, there is peace! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A major life-changing event took place in 2017 when my family had to leave my hometown Chennai and settle down in Bangalore. It was tough as I didn't want to leave Chennai and my home where I grew up but eventually I had to abide by God's will and shift cities. I currently live in Bangalore and I like the place. The weather is great, the people are helpful and there is a different energy in the environment! Now, I like the city so much that settling down anywhere else in India is a no-no from my side. However, you never know, God can have his own plans and may suddenly change my path. It is just as if he picked me up from one city and placed me into another! Luckily as a freelancer my professional life didn't get affected. The biggest pro of being a freelancer!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In the end of 2017 I also started my You Tube channel and have been making a lot of videos on health, lifestyle, fashion, food and other stuff like DIYs. The channel is growing at its own pace as I don't create a lot of content but it is like an outlet to the creative side of my personality. I learned everything like video editing and recording all by myself!<br />
You can check out my video here - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXN9vrwbUmMkpA8LhFfYjNg?view_as=subscriber" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">My YouTube Channel</a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So here I am, with my family, living in an apartment in the beautiful city of Bangalore! One question keeps coming in my mind, where will life lead me from here? Absolutely no clue!<br />
However, one thing is for sure, I will work towards rebuilding this blog. It feels good to have a window to express what your soul feels from time to time.<br />
That's pretty much it from my end! You can share your views in the comment section. I would love to know!<br />
<br />
Love,<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello all!!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Do you realize the value of a moment? Well, you might be feeling why there are so many sermons on this blog. Let me tell you that this is just my perspective of life. Now continuing with the topic, allow me to replace the word 'value' with 'power' in the first sentence. A moment plays a powerful role in the arena of time. It can change lives forever and can leave either bitter or sweet memories behind.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT8jRe-B7KiK1vZYo9t4ee8b-ia1hiCH29FPY-U0pV_Ay2a9MVWcw" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT8jRe-B7KiK1vZYo9t4ee8b-ia1hiCH29FPY-U0pV_Ay2a9MVWcw" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It is a well known fact that it takes years to build trust and just a moment to shatter it. A moment's wrong decision can turn your whole life turns into a nightmare. You will realize this at different junctures of life. A moment can leave a positive impact on your entire life too. It can be the moment you helped a stranger. That feeling the moment gave you will linger with you for long.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The mind is a very strange thing. It has the capability of building castles in a moment and then the very next moment those castles can be shattered. Have you ever felt that. It is here where the uncertainty of life begins to overpower us. When a moment can change everything, maybe for ever, you never know whether it is for your good or for your bad.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Let me tell you something on a lighter note, something I have experienced in my school and college life. I remember all those moments when I have done something naughty, out-of-the-ordinary. I remember enjoying ice-cream in college during a class when the HOD was around. I was scared but couldn't resist the ice-cream. So it was all happening under the table and I was not alone there was a troop of other girls too! More than college it is the school life that leaves memories behind. During school it was fun to peep out the window during math class, play indoor games when the teacher was absent, holidays due to heavy rain, tests getting post poned. There were so many moments and I shall always cherish them in my heart.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Keep remembering the special moments of your life and keep living!</div>

Hello!!<br />
There has been a really long silence on this blog.... but not anymore. I am back to unravel the mysteries of life!! Just like today's topic it is better to revive the blog after a long hiatus rather than procrastinating it till eternity!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXg95NbWWV7fCYaqhPbTLY4NWG5gBwpP25GqzsGKWlcZq_kM7aPa2be1RS2hS2A9TiHxLRolTabn-Y-HV-8hoX1SkZQ-WfEQd-LWveGNMTdxFR-45vqTWkUaXIOBV3KiOpMSWHXfsm/s400/better_late_than_never_card-p137130091596215318bhc2d_275.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXg95NbWWV7fCYaqhPbTLY4NWG5gBwpP25GqzsGKWlcZq_kM7aPa2be1RS2hS2A9TiHxLRolTabn-Y-HV-8hoX1SkZQ-WfEQd-LWveGNMTdxFR-45vqTWkUaXIOBV3KiOpMSWHXfsm/s400/better_late_than_never_card-p137130091596215318bhc2d_275.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
Every individual comes across a situation in life when it is too late to act upon it. You would feel it is perfect to sit back and let things be. It can be as simple as saying sorry to your loved one. Usually it is the ego that creeps in and spoils the party. Ego always reminds me of the film 'Abhimaan'. My favourite onscreen and off screen couple Amitabh and Jaya did a great job in narrating the tale of human ego. How devastating the result of jealousy can be is well depicted in the film. Isn't this the same ego that affects the life of the common man day in and day out? So, this ego may be reason why most people don't apologize or don't take the first step. Jealousy, ego and other malevolent feelings should be nipped in the bud.<br />
I had happened to read a story where school kids were asked to cut onions and put them in socks and carry them around in their bag every day. As the days rolled by it became difficult for the kids to carry them as they were getting too smelly to handle. They all complained to their teacher that it was an unwanted burden. To that the teacher replied 'You all may be carrying malevolent feelings in your hearts that are as smelly as the rotten onions.' She asked all the children to remove the sour feelings from their hearts and throw them away along with the rotten onions and live a life that is free of negativity. <br />
I know that it is difficult to implement as all of us are just flesh and blood. Give it a try as there is no harm in trying once. Let me tell you that you might regret later in life and I read somewhere that the weight of regret weighs tons.<br />
<br />
Regards,<br />

<a href="https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS13cFX51cIETkAYdK2Ksr-J16i3Gyr1UxihAz69Fyr4XMyCSXG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS13cFX51cIETkAYdK2Ksr-J16i3Gyr1UxihAz69Fyr4XMyCSXG" /></a> Yesterday I hurt my left feet with my right toe-nail. I know it is rather silly but a train of thoughts ran in my mind when I saw the cut today morning. It was so unlike yesterday night! Today a scab developed over it. Now you would say WOW! what a discovery, but honestly speaking it made me feel that every wound heals when given time. Each day in some way or the other we are hurt emotionally by others. We are generally frustrated about it. But it is essential to understand the fact that time will heal the wound. The theory is the same as that of physical wounds but I admit that some wounds leave a scar behind. This is true in the case of both physical and mental wounds. I still have the scars of my wounds on my knees when I kept falling during my childhood...sob...sob..but on a serious note we all need to have a positive outlook towards life and let the wounds heal.<br />

Let's celebrate life!!<br />

Good question to ponder upon. Whatever is depicted in films is too far from reality. There is a yawning gap between our lives and stories shown on the big screen. Very rare have I found reality in movies. The way people emote on the screen is no where near the real world. Emotions such as love, fear, anger, happiness, sadness, depression appear to be very made up.<br />
<a href="https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSLjNsLxx6HkmS9pns1aSRAM8yY5EBjccgaE8YC8WTLGeIEfVAfUw" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSLjNsLxx6HkmS9pns1aSRAM8yY5EBjccgaE8YC8WTLGeIEfVAfUw" /></a> Just imagine yourself singing aloud for your loved one on the streets. People will declare that you are mad!!! Dressing up like the heroines in some cases is a strict no no. And then there are those dream sequences ( like any other girl I love them) , with a beautiful location and an enviable wardrobe. Fight scenes are over the top and unnatural. Imagine a guy taking drips suddenly gets up from his hospital bed , runs and fights like a lion!!! Nowadays fights have become even more dramatic ( Singham!!).<br />
But if movies are like are mundane and boring lives then where is the fun ?? The movie needs to be a typical masala type to be a block-buster. Let me admit, it is all eye-candy! The fights, romance or emotions though fake do entertain us.....so the show must go on.....<br />

<a href="https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQn6C9RgHPhY9YQqkMbr55Q3zQT_H-pM6U15587ju8lFHjbyD6i" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQn6C9RgHPhY9YQqkMbr55Q3zQT_H-pM6U15587ju8lFHjbyD6i" /></a> Yes, you got it right! This post is about us humans. Well, we are called Homo sapiens scientifically, have you ever wondered what we really are? Do you remember the last time when you performed an act of kindness or showed courtesy to a stranger? I'm sure most of you will not be able to recollect anything in the near past. The same is with me. It takes time for me to remember when I showed kindness towards others. We have turned cold and rigid towards others. It is just I-me-my -family kind of attitude. This is highly deplorable. I feel infants are far better than us adults, at least they smile at strangers with warmth. Can a grown up think of doing this?? If she/he does he will be labelled as insane. We have built an outer shell that stops us from showcasing humanity.<br />
Now what comes to my mind is 'why do we exist?'. A simple question but where is the answer to this? Do we exist to exploit the planet's resources and leave nothing for other living beings? Maybe yes, because that is what we are doing. Nature's resources are being selfishly hogged just for our whims and fancies. Are we being reasonable? I know all of us are victims of the urge of living a luxurious life. But does this mean that we turn a deaf ear against the cries of our mother earth. We call ourselves humans but have forgotten what humanity really means. In order to make our lives simpler we tend to hurt other life forms on planet Earth. How long can we afford to be selfish egoists? Let us prove that we are superior beings by doing our bit. Turn eco-friendly and human friendly. The environment ,our fellow humans and the myriad forms of life on this planet badly need our support. So, live and let live.<br />

So, we just celebrated our 65th Independence day. Great! The stories of all the valiant freedom fighters seem to be present only as textual matter in history text books. Back in school most of us read them, memorised them and wrote them in our exams. Did we ever cherish them?? Just for the sake of getting good grades we learned things about freedom fighters. It is just a case of 'learn and forget' even today. <br />
<br />
<br />
India is the world's largest democracy with a carefully documented constitution and justice for all. Let me ask a question- are we a free nation?? The British ruled us for centuries. India wanted 'Swaraj'. But has this 'Swaraj' brought freedom?? Are we free to walk down the streets at midnight? Are the women bold enough to do that? My answer is NO. Yes, I agree the British have plundered and looted the nation but what are our brethren doing? Black money, scam,scandals are the headlines in every day's newspaper. The father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi taught us certain basic principles of life....non-violence, truthfulness. His philosophy towards life was very different. My favourite one is 'Simple living and high thinking'. It is very difficult to implement , I admit that. Being selfless is difficult but not impossible. I guess today's India, India 2012 should realize that though we are a free nation today, corruption is eroding the soil of freedom. We are still slaves of social evils and the sad part is that the villains are our own country men. Let us give it a thought.....<br />

<a href="https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRBQPrg135JQEP3zeX7MNKBVd3ls5fci3QC3_nLwpfTUILmJfObwg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="145" src="https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRBQPrg135JQEP3zeX7MNKBVd3ls5fci3QC3_nLwpfTUILmJfObwg" width="320" /></a> So, having a lot of cash in your purse?? Take out a single currency note and just think who all owned it before it landed into your wallet. Isn't it a strange thing? Especially in India it becomes a lot more easy to trace a INR note. You can find people immortalize their loved one's by writing their names on it. Just yesterday I saw a Rs.5 note with a 'GUNA SISTER' written on it in capital letters. Writing numbers was a norm but now even names appear. Xyz loves Zyx , I know quite silly but true. Just like how at historical places you find hearts engraved with lovers' names. Not only does it spoil these precious monuments, it is a very cheap way of publicizing one's love.<br />
Coming back to currency notes and their ever changing holders, you give a 500 rupees note to a shop-keeper for buying a Rs.50 product, you get Rs.450 back...ok this is no math class... you may get it as 4 hundred rupees notes and 5 ten rupees notes. You have found your treasure! Now think how did the shop-keeper get those Rs.10 notes. Probability says that four kids would have bought a pack of Lays chips. Now how did that kid get Rs.10?? Pocket money perhaps, if he's a good guy or stolen form dad's wallet if he's a bad guy. Nevertheless, it is the Dad who sponsors, voluntarily or involuntarily. And we all know from where Daddy dear got it....salary.. ie; hard earned money or ....bribe for which our country is world famous today. Now if Daddy dear's employers paid him, well that is good. But if daddy dear accepts bribe from people to get work done then this can be called as black money. So, beware you may be in possession of some unaccounted money. Just joking....no offense intended.<br />
It is high time we realized that black money is eating away the roots of our economy and shaking the foundation of our democracy. Let us do our bit by curing the disease called corruption whose roots are widespread in our society.<br />
<br />
I know you must be wondering why I always end up with sermons....<br />

Rain is a very natural phenomenon. It is the purest form of water. All of us have read it in science long ago in school. The point here is that science doesn't teach us how to emote. No offence intended, science used to be my favourite subject back in school but today I have realised that emotions and phenomenons don't go hand in hand.<br />
<a href="https://encrypted-tbn1.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ3k-k72S2Cjr1TUfG-B-gLDsBDGqDWAepge-FTuLmlUOBx6SMf" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://encrypted-tbn1.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ3k-k72S2Cjr1TUfG-B-gLDsBDGqDWAepge-FTuLmlUOBx6SMf" /></a> What comes to the mind when there is a thunder shower? Poets have always compared the rain and dark clouds to dull and gloomy situations. Even in our movies anything sad is symbolized by the rain. One life changing dialogue and you can hear the thunder in the background.<br />
I have mixed feelings towards rain; at times it gives me a new joy and hope ; I feel like getting drenched and dancing in the rain. I welcome each and every drop and allow it to transcend my mind and soul. You should look how little kids play in puddles of water. I have never done that but it seems very inviting! I came across a saying that certain people love the rain because no one can find out that they are crying. This is something very touching. What I personally feel is that the rain washes away our sins, at least thinking that way will make you feel lighter. It is nature's gift to mankind. Change is inevitable and the changing seasons just symbolize that. The smell of the wet mud, the beautiful greenery all around is what makes monsoons special. Have you ever noticed after a shower how the entire area becomes a beautiful scenery. Simply amazing!<br />
Let us not be too happy about it. Every thing has flip side to it. In India the rains adversely affect the day to day life. The roads are water logged, it becomes difficult for pedestrians to walk in the sludge. Canals get clogged causing a flood like situation. This is particularly common in Mumbai.<br />
Anyway I would really like to thank God Almighty for showering his blessings upon us in the form of rain. Now it is your turn to think about it :) <br />

Long ago when I was in class 2 in school I learned a lovely song about happiness....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS74jO3wgmXE5XXUmhf06gZAPvQXavficyKgoyQsnJTdoSPw7TA6w" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS74jO3wgmXE5XXUmhf06gZAPvQXavficyKgoyQsnJTdoSPw7TA6w" /></a></div>
Happiness is to know you saviour,<br />
Living your life in his favour,<br />
Happiness is the lord....<br />
God Almighty showers happiness upon us constantly but I guess we are unable to realize that. Most of us are in search of happiness. Day in and day out we look around for happiness but does it dawn upon us that happiness is all around us. We don't grab opportunities that come our way. Being born as a human being is the biggest reason to be happy about. People equate happiness to money, fame. Yes, we do live in a materialistic world but even little things can make us happy like our favourite ice-cream, favourite song, new clothes (for women at least!). Money is power, that is the viewpoint of the society but is it really a source of happiness?? Money can't buy everything. Relationships in life are our true happiness and wealth. Why do we work so hard and earn money? It is for our near and dear ones , our family. They are the true jewels in our lives. The true source of happiness is togetherness.<br />
What do you prefer- staying with your family and have a humble living or residing in a pent-house all alone. Even a billionaire can't be happy when he doesn't have a shoulder to cry upon.<br />
Just think about it.<br />
<br />

Have you ever wondered why life is like the way it is? I guess we all are pretty busy with monotonous schedules and hardly have time to sit down and ponder over this fact. What is the purpose of our lives? A very difficult question to answer indeed. Each day I see so many different people, from different walks of life. It amazes me how in spite of hardships they are gamed for life. The buses, share autos are all jam packed at 9.00 am. I had once heard that it is struggle that gives one strength to survive in this world. If we achieve things easily we wouldn't be called heroes. The ultimate winner is one who swims against the tide.<br />
Usually life is compared to an ocean or a flowing river in the world of poetry. Yes, it is true. Life is a flowing river crossing several barriers and at last merges with the ocean. Life is such a mystery that you and me can never understand. From a distance it appears to simple but when you delve deeper into its depths you will understand how complicated it is. Mother, father, brother, sister, aunt, uncle friend..... these relations are our support systems. We spend nearly 19 years in school,college and keep lamenting about it. ' When will this phase of life get over? ' , this question predominates our mind. And after completing this phase we refuse to leave this phase. Why? Because these 19 years have given us innumerable memories and we wish to cling to it. These are the formative years and actually determine the rest of our lives.<br />
<br />
With this I'm signing off...<br />
